I attended my gorgeous boy's formal and it was very enjoyable. The after party was even better though. We crashed at my friend's place and spent the night coupled up under the stars until the early morning.

Kick Ass

Had a lovely date with my boyfriend and watched Kick Ass 2. It was such a great film! 
I have this very bad outlook on clothing + shoes. I try to avert mainstream clothing, resulting in the neglect of perfectly fine items. It is such an egotistic thing to do and I am attempting to break this mindset, and so, the other day I put on my coltranes and walked out the door.
I was quite upset because many of my friends shunned me due to this bizzare, school like shoe a few years back. Now, every shoe store I see stock these Jef Campbells - Balenciaga copies. It's okay, I still love my babies.

I met the designer, Adi Setiadi at his workshop and sample sale a while ago and he was so lovely! His work is intricate and beautiful, I especially love his use of digital prints.

Major

I recently submitted my textiles major after months of work. I'm happy with the dress and macrame belt and I am so grateful for everything I have learnt from the knowledge of my amazing teacher. I feel that this is the real reason for school- to learn new things that you otherwise would not have attempted. I was inspired by numerous things, including Alexander McQueen's Spring/Summer 2010 collection and the ocean.

New purchases

I made the trek into the city for work only to find out i actually wasn't on, so of course, I ended up shopping. There were some amazing sales on and I managed to snag these Stella McCartney sunnies and Hunter boots. I eagerly want the rain to come so I can wear these bad boys and not have to worry about the durability and cleanliness of the shoes. 

Other than that, I have merely been studying my ass off for trials. Good luck to you too if you are undergoing the HSC!

College Concert

The other night I attended the St Mary's Cathedral College concert and it was beautiful! I particularly was intrigued by the primary boy's rendition of Rhianna's Umbrella. The boys were the cutest things in the world! 

Alice McCall dress

 Little story of this dress: I purchased this beaut at the Alice Mccall sample sale and every time I put it on, I require strenuous assistance to get out of it. Although I become entrapped in the thick fabric with my arms locked above my head, it's absolutely worth it.
